NEUKAPOL 1030

NEUKAPOL 1030 is a branched polyester/-ether altropol universal binder that provides highly hydrophobic properties making it suitable for medium-viscous tough-elastic applications requiring low shrinkage. NEUKAPOL 1030 has a yellowish color with a OH-value of 243 + 12 mg KOH / g and viscosity of 1,500 + 500 mPa.s at 25°C. It contains less than 0.2% water and acid number below 3 mg KOH / g. When mixed with hardeners, NEUKAPOL 1030 results in a pot life of 20-30 minutes and hardness of 80 Shore D along with tensile strength of 40 MPa, elongation at break of 10% and flexibility with flexural strength of 50 MPa. Its resistance to tear propagation is 22 N/mm and impact strength of 38 KJ/m2. The glass transition temperature is above room temperature. NEUKAPOL 1030 is supplied in 1 kg, 25 kg, 200 kg and 1000 kg containers.
