OREVAC T 9318

OREVAC® T 9318 is a random ethylene-vinyl acetate-maleic anhydride terpolymer (EVAMAH). As an ethylene copolymer, OREVAC® T 9318 is compatible with PE in all proportions, and with most ethylene copolymers. Vinyl acetate brings softness, flexibility and polarity while maleic anhydride brings reactivity, leading to versatile adhesive properties to polar and non-polar substrates. As a result of high-pressure polymerisation in tubular reactor, OREVAC® T 9318 exhibits high transparency (low haze). OREVAC® T 9318 can be used to produce thermo-adhesive films for solid substrates like PA,PET & PU films, aluminium foils, fiber mats, foams... OREVAC® T 9318 is also suitable as a tie layer between polyethylene and polyamide in blown film, cast film or in tubes co-extrusion. It can be used as a coupling agent in cables compounds formulations.
